Intellectual Property & Content Policy

1. Neon Grove materials

The Neon Grove name and mark, Elyndor setting, LumaBot, district names, original artwork, 3D and SVG designs, interfaces, copy, source code, databases and game mechanics are protected materials owned by or licensed to the operator. The absence of a trade mark symbol does not waive any right.

You may not copy, extract, resell, white-label, frame or create a confusingly similar commercial service from those materials. Statutory exceptions, including quotation, criticism, review, parody and interoperability rights where applicable, remain unaffected.

2. Personal gameplay licence

Your account receives only the limited licence described in the Terms. Virtual items and cosmetic shells are licensed features, not transferred intellectual property. Account closure or removal of an item for a lawful reason ends the corresponding licence, subject to mandatory paid-content remedies.

3. Screenshots, streaming and fan works

Players may publish ordinary gameplay screenshots, non-misleading videos, live streams and non-commercial fan art, including monetisation through a platform’s standard creator programme, provided the work does not disclose another person’s data, imply official endorsement, distribute game files or facilitate an exploit.

Use “Neon Grove” descriptively and do not register it as a domain, company name, app name or trade mark. We may request correction where branding, age suitability or sponsorship is misrepresented.

4. City names and player submissions

You retain any rights you hold in an original city name or support message. You grant Neon Grove a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, display, moderate and process that submission only as necessary to operate, secure and support the Service.

You represent that a submitted name or attachment does not infringe another person’s rights. We may rename or remove content that violates the Game Rules, law or a substantiated rights complaint.

5. Feedback

Ideas, bug reports and product suggestions may be used to improve Neon Grove without an obligation to pay or implement them. This permission does not transfer ownership of a pre-existing protected work and does not authorise publication of confidential material clearly identified as such.

6. Rights notices

A rights holder may contact gamedev@neongrovecity.com with identification of the protected work, the relevant URL or account content, the basis of the claim and reliable contact information. We may request verification, preserve evidence and take proportionate action while respecting lawful exceptions and the affected user’s opportunity to respond.
